Okay, this is more of a use of leftovers. We had so many after Christmas Eve! I had made Buffalo Chicken Poppers (I used turkey, though) and only put out half with the wing sauce. So I had all this turkey meatballs left. Cooked, for the record.
I simply smashed them up and added some ingredients and made chili for dinner tonight! It was really good, with a slightly different, softer texture because of the breadcrumbs and eggs mixed into the meatballs.
Funny thing is, I had a dream last night that I went to make this and couldn't because I thought there were cranberries in them. Not in real life, although I did make cranberry meatballs for Christmas Eve, too! And ended up sending them home with my guests because I never had time to cook them, lol.
